These Terms of Use govern your use of AutoClarity, including the mobile app, website, and related services. By using AutoClarity, you agree to these Terms.
AutoClarity is an informational tool created to help users better understand possible vehicle issues before visiting a mechanic or repair shop. AutoClarity is not a substitute for a licensed mechanic, repair facility, dealership diagnosis, roadside assistance provider, or professional inspection.
AutoClarity provides estimates, suggestions, and likely issue patterns based on user input and guided logic. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific vehicle or situation. We do not guarantee that any result, estimate, or report is correct.
You are solely responsible for all decisions involving diagnosis, repair, parts replacement, maintenance, towing, inspection, vehicle operation, and safety. If your vehicle may be unsafe to drive, do not rely on the app. Stop using the vehicle and seek qualified professional help immediately.
Your use of AutoClarity does not create a mechanic-client, shop-customer, advisory, fiduciary, or professional services relationship.
AutoClarity may offer one-time paid report unlocks and auto-renewing subscriptions. Billing is handled by Apple through the App Store. Subscription management, cancellation, renewal, and refunds are subject to Apple’s rules and your Apple account settings.
RevenueCat may be used to manage entitlement and subscription status.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoClarity and its owner, developer, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, vehicle value, repair costs, towing costs, missed work, property damage, personal injury, or safety-related harm arising out of or related to your use of the app.
AutoClarity is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You agree to provide accurate information when using the app. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use its outputs as a substitute for professional inspection or diagnosis in safety-critical situations.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of AutoClarity after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
